THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE MAGAZINE
Upon being kicked out of her parents’ house for totaling her car three days short of graduating high school, founder/editor in chief Kenzie Gay refused to wallow. In fact, she took it as a lesson to start her life on her own terms and Love Street Magazine was born.
Named after a song by the mighty psych rock trailblazers that were The Doors, Love Street Magazine has evolved into a rock-centered publication rooted in values of peace, love, DIY culture, and acceptance (though, we love ourselves some indie and folk just as much as the next person).
From sit-down artist interviews to concert galleries to album breakdowns, Love Street Magazine has become a place where every music fan can find new, raw talent: the kind that ISN’T being featured on the radio or on SNL.
None of this would have happened without the ever growing team of young creatives, however. Below, you’ll meet our wonderful crew.
