The Coca-Cola Roxy was a packed house on Valentine’s Day as Finneas and many of his fans spent the night together for the singers For Cryin’ Out Loud! tour.

Atlanta was only the second show of Finneas’ world tour, yet it marked one of the biggest performances of his career so far - a fact he shared with the crowd midway through his set.

To match the significance of the night, the concert radiated ecstatic energy while blending excitement into moments of heartfelt intimacy. From high-energy anthems and soul-stirring ballads balancing one another out, Finneas’ artistry in his music shone brightly throughout the night.

To start out the show, Bad Suns opened for Finneas, and they kicked off the energy hard and fast.

It was undeniable in the first 10 seconds that almost everyone in the venue seemed to know the band. Fans all around were singing to the songs, cheering loudly as if Bad Suns was the main act, and some people even wore their merch. This may be because the drummer of Bad Suns, Miles Morris, had the opportunity to help Finneas create the drum sets of his new album, and he even plays with him during the main set.

Whether it truly was the reason or not, Bad Suns almost seemed like a perfect opener for Finneas' show. They played some of their top hits, like Communicating or Daft Pretty Boys, which had everyone singing each lyric.

After the fun intensity of Bad Suns, Finneas came out with a slow beginning as he played, Starfucker, the first song off of his newest album.

It was a beginning that set the emotions for the night but also gave the audience just a peak at Finneas’ raw vocal talent.

Once Finneas finished Starfucker, the energy of the music instantly picked up. From Lotus Eater to What’s It Gonna Take To Break Your Heart, the venue was filled with jumping fans and an energized band.

It almost seemed as if not a single person in the venue didn’t know Finneas’ music. There was always singing from the fans to back him, and they even knew exactly when to mimic a certain instrument riff of a song.

When the ballad songs hit, the mood turned somber yet starstruck. It was when Finneas played Family Feud, from his new album when the raw, vulnerable emotion of his album resonated with the crowd.

After Family Feud, Finneas sang I Lost A Friend and Break My Heart Again. These three songs signify emotional stories, such as watching your siblings grow up into incredible people or letting someone you love deeply continue to hurt you if it means them being around.

Through his music, Finneas and his fans were able to connect on a deeper level, which encouraged continuous support for him throughout the rest of the show.

With over two months remaining on his world tour, Finneas set the tone in Atlanta, igniting the true spirit of his new album, For Cryin' Out Loud! alongside his band.

He closed the concert with the album’s title track, uniting every emotion, burst of energy, and person in the crowd - the perfect Valentine’s Day gift to wrap up an unforgettable night.
